Kia EV6 Interior

Anyone looking for a crossover SUV with the most interior space will be thrilled with the EV6. Due to the size of its wheel base, the EV6 offers a spacious cabin similar to mid-size SUVs. The EV6 provides a clean, streamlined experience with a digital dashboard and premium infotainment system. The materials, such as the vegan leather used, create a high-end atmosphere. The EV6 can comfortably seat five passengers and is easily adjusted for maximum cargo space. This is especially apparent in the middle rear seats, as the floor is flat due to Kia's E-GMP platform. In our opinion, this is a great electric vehicle for both young professionals as well as families with young children.

EV6 Technology

Technology is where the EV6 truly shines. The dual 12-inch screens have been designed to subtly curve to reduce glare while driving. The EV6 offers an available augmented reality head-up display that projects driving information, such as directions, onto the windshield. The EV6 has Remote Smart Parking Assist, which uses sensors to park your vehicle for you without you even being inside it. For an immersive sound experience, the EV6 offers a 14-speaker Meridian® surround audio system. For those first-time EV buyers, the EV6 uses Active Sound design, which gives you feedback on the car's speed. This is helpful as most EVs are very quiet, making it difficult to gauge if you are used to traditional gas vehicles. The ambient lighting gives a nice final touch to an electric vehicle that feels like it's from the future.

EV6 Seating and Comfort

The EV6 provides spacious, deluxe seating options that are a major plus for this electric SUV. The 8-Way Power Driver's Seat with 2-Way Power Lumbar Adjustment comes standard on all EV6 trims, with the exception of the GT AWD. If you upgrade to the Wind AWD trim, this feature is added to the passenger side as well. All trim levels come standard with heated seats, with the option of ventilated seats for higher trim levels. Some trims even come with heated rear seats for a great passenger experience. All EV6 trims come with a premium vegan leather seating material. An optional heated steering wheel comes in handy, especially for those cold winter mornings.

EV6 GT AWD Interior Features

Anyone looking for an electric sports car will be thrilled with the style of the GT AWD. It upgrades to front bucket seats with black SynTex suede and neon-accented seat trim. The steering wheel is upgraded to a SynTex-wrapped flat-bottom sport steering wheel. The inside was finished with alloy sports petals. You'll be surprised at just how sporty the interior of the GT feels, and that isn't even getting into performance that compares to luxury models from Porsche and Lamborghini.

EV6 Cargo Space

The EV6 offers a generous amount of passenger space, totaling 102 cubic feet. It provides over 24 cubic feet behind the second row, which can be increased to an impressive 50.2 cubic feet by simply folding down the 60-40 split second-row seats. The trunk also has a removable cargo floor for uniquely shaped items. For smaller items, there is an under-hood storage compartment located in the frunk. There is also a cargo compartment under the center console. When you add all of these spaces up, it's quite impressive what you can fit in a smaller SUV package.

Kia EV6 Design: The Sporty EV Subcompact SUV

Overall, the Kia EV6 feels like it was designed to break barriers to what an EV can look like. Kia calls their design philosophy a digital 'tiger face'. The daytime running lights have a futuristic look with a 'sequential' dynamic light pattern. The front of the car is further enhanced by a low air intake that makes the EV6 appear wider. On the sides, the EV6 boasts clean surfaces and flush door handles, giving it a sleek appearance. A special door blade runs along the body, seamlessly transitioning into an LED light cluster on the rear deck, which also doubles as an integrated ducktail spoiler. This design feature creates a continuous line that wraps around the vehicle, bringing a sense of balance to its overall aesthetic. Anyone looking for a sports EV will be thrilled with the enhanced GT styling of the EV6 GT AWD.

EV6 Wheel options

Depending on which trim you decide to buy, the EV6 comes with either 19, 20, or 21-inch rims. The Light RWD, Light Long Range RWD, and Light Long Range AWD all come with 19-inch alloy wheels with a dark gray finish. The Wind RWD, Wind AWD, and GT-Line RWD come with 20-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The GT-Line AWD upgrades to 20-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. Finally, the EV6 GT AWD does a great job of finishing off its sporty look with 21-inch alloy wheels with a black finish..
