The magic truly unfolds inside the EV9. Despite being surrounded by incredible modern technology, the driving experience is guaranteed to be serene and soothing. Most of the surfaces and materials are made of plant-based or recycled materials, lowering the carbon footprint. Kia has prioritized a harmonious connection with nature, offering a range of interior colors from sleek gray to earthy tones, along with a minimalist design with limited buttons and plenty of hidden useful tech. With a spacious interior passenger space of 158.8 cu. ft., there's ample room for a family of up to 7 individuals.

EV9 Cargo Space

The EV9 offers a cargo space of approximately 20 cubic feet, which can increase to a whopping 81.8 cubic feet when you fold down all the rear passenger seats. You can easily access your rear cargo through the power lift gate of the EV9. Additionally, there is extra space in the front of the vehicle where the engine would typically be located. Thanks to the absence of a transmission tunnel, the floor of the EV9 is completely flat, providing even more usable space. With all this storage capacity, the possibilities are nearly endless for what you can carry.

EV9 Seating Optons

Whether you choose the 6-seat configuration with separated middle seats or the 7-seat configuration with a middle row bench, the EV9 ensures that all trim levels feature luxurious SynTex Seat Trim, a high-end vegan leather material. The driver and front passenger can enjoy the ultimate comfort with the optional first-row relaxation seating. This automatically adjusts to provide maximum comfort by reclining and even offering a raised foot rest. Not only that, but these seats also come with heated, ventilated, massaging, and reclining features, with options for 8-way or 10-way power adjustments. EV9s with the 6-seat configuration offer the option to upgrade the two captain chairs to the same level of comfort and functionality as the front row. The third row does recline but does not offer any other advanced features.

Kia EV9 Technology

The EV9's front features a pair of 12.3-inch screens and a third 5-inch display. One large screen is dedicated to infotainment functions, while the other displays driving data and gauge clusters. The third small screen is used for the climate controls. The user-friendly touchscreen allows you to easily navigate through various features, such as accessing your phone, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, adjusting charging settings, controlling interior lighting, customizing driver and passenger seat preferences, and utilizing a wide range of driver aids and safety settings. Kia has equipped the EV9 with either an 8-speaker standard audio system or an optional 14-speaker Meridian premium audio system. Upgradable options include a Full Display Mirror, which provides a comprehensive view of what's behind you in your rearview mirror; a Head-Up Display that projects driving data onto the windshield; and a remote smart parking assist feature that allows the EV9 to park itself in tight spaces.

Kia EV9 Design: The Electric Telluride

The EV9 has been designed with a strong connection to nature and a color palette inspired by the elements of light, air, earth, and water. This results in a range of stunning exterior colors to choose from. Similar to the EV6, the EV9 features what Kia refers to as a "Digital Tiger Face." Kia was able to add some cool design features to suit a vehicle that doesn't require airflow from the grill. Instead, they have replaced it with a body-colored panel that includes Kia's dynamic welcome lights. What's cool is that this panel offers five unique designs that illuminate as you get closer to the vehicle. Moreover, on either side, you'll find these stunning wing-shaped headlights featuring 12 individual cube-shaped LED projectors. This, along with vertical headlamps and Kia's new "constellation" style tail lights, makes the EV9 exude a sense of the future and serenity. This is a fantastic electric SUV for families. The parents will love the features, and the kids will love how cool the EV9 is.

EV9 Wheel options

The stock rim size of the EV9 depends on which trim you buy. The EV9 Light RWD, Light Long Range RWD, and Wind AWD all come with 19-inch alloy wheels in black with a machined finish. The EV9 Land AWD comes with 20-inch alloy wheels in black with a machined finish. Finally, the EV9 GT-Line AWD comes with 21-inch alloy wheels with a black and dark silver finish.

The EV9 has already earned the nickname electric telluride due to its similarities in interior layout. The dimensions of the EV9 are almost identical in length, width, and height. The EV9 has an overall length of 197.2 inches; it stands at 77.9 inches wide and 68.9 inches tall. Additionally, it boasts a ground clearance of 7.9 inches.
